‘Mi Amor’ delves into the realm of love at first sight, exploring the profound connection that transcends superficial boundaries. Nicole paints a vivid picture of the intoxicating allure of true love, emphasizing that genuine affection cannot be bought but blossoms organically, through her heartfelt lyrics. Speaking about the inspiration behind the project, Nicole Elocin shared, ‘Mi Amore is about lovers that fall in love at first sight, the project dives deeper and explains how true love is not bought, but it comes by itself. It was written to spread a “true love” intention.’

Nicole Chigariro, better known as Nicole Elocin, the Zimbabwean singer was raised partially in the Eastern Cape and Kempton Park. Nicole Elocin music career began at the age of 11 while in a church choir, having always been drawn to music, she also took part in numerous talent shows in high school and she then started pursuing her musical career in 2019 by attending studio sessions with local producers Tammy T and Plexx Roku. At the age of 20, Nicole released one of the Amapiano breakout albums in 2020 titled “Money Heist” with the talented Tyler ICU. The album included hit singles such as “Bella Ciao” and “Risky”. The “Bella Ciao” audio video has since surpassed 1,7 million views on Youtube and was featured on Apple music’s Top 100: South Africa playlist.
Nicole has worked with numerous amapiano talents including renowned producer and Dj Maphorisa; Kabza De Small; Mas Musiq; Sha Sha; Nia Pearl and Mlindo The Vocalist. In 2023 she dropped a single with Blxckie titled ‘Become One’.
